Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Matthew 6:19-21 Do not put away riches for yourselves on earth. Moths and rust can destroy them. Thieves can break in and steal them. Instead, put away riches for yourselves in heaven. Jeremiah 9:24 But here is what the one who brags should boast about. He should brag that he has understanding and knows me. I want him to know that I am the Lord. No matter what I do on Earth, I am always kind, fair, and right. And I take delight in that.
